Plus the actual blu-ray has intrinsic value, where a download only has replay value.
You can sell/trade the boxed version, you cannot do this with a download.
Is Sony's Video store a joke?

the whole concept of digital downloads is quite flawed at the moment and the music and record industry blame their lack of profit on illegal downloads! lower your prices and people might buy your sh!t

LOL if you shopped around you could probably get half of those cheaper on actual disk anyway. And who the fuck would want half of those in HD anyway? These fucking companies have zero brains and/or zero touch with the market.

You're both right of course.
The music companies want to go back to the days of vinyl, back to the 60's - 90's when a gold record meant 1million sales and platinum meant 5 million.
Now you get gold at 50,000.
I do see that illegal downloads WILL hurt business, but so does being selfish and intractable. People want music how they want it. Simple as.
iTunes and other digital outlets manage by offering people extacly that.
They say that it costs money to bring a band to market, sign deals, pay recording studio's, pay off reviewers and venue owners etc. Yet there's now a growing number of groups who use FREE outlets for their music. They pay for everything t
Fuck it, I'm pissed off with corporatocracy and the fuckers fleecing us at every fucking oportunity.
My name is Tyler Durden!

Sorry to be a party popper, why buy it then?
Why do they have them high
Well one main one, it's a Saturday night you have had a few drinks and there is fuck all on tv
Oh bummer what do we do now
Oh them PS3 has a movie store
Like it or not if ur in the mood to watch a movie an u really see a movie u Wana see people pay them prices
Hence why there soo high
They make more money on the high price less downloads
Than more downloads and less price
More downloads = server to support the space and the bandwidth
More Downloads more bandwidth more money
Less downloads = less over heads, higher price makes up for this quantity loss, still there will be a smaller turnover but a higher profit margin
Lifes a bitch but everyone sucks into it! At least once in there life
FFA I said I would never ape d 45 on a game.
50 I spent on this game
Half of a hundred pounds WTF!!!!!!!! For a game you avin a laugh
But you want it u pay for it
