Republic stores could close as early as tomorrow.

Fashion chain Republic is expected to become the latest retailer to collapse into administration.

Republic, which has an estate of 121 stores and employs 1,000 people, is thought to be lining up Ernst & Young as an administrator and could announce its collapse as soon as Wednesday.
