well it seems the umpossible has happened and ME1 will be released on PS3, it comes either in the Mass effect trilogy edition or as a digital download.

how using the digital download will integrate into the going story i dont know. im not sure if that comparability was wrote in but it should be fun to play. one thing ive been warned about is how vastly different it plays from ME2

im going to get it for crimbob and ask my mum to get me a PSN voucher ill let you know how i get on with it

Apparently the first is the most in depth and role-play oriented.
I gather they've been dumbed down as the series has progressed...

I've still not got around to playing 3 yet

dumbed down is a bit harsh id say Charlie i loved ME2 and 3 and i dont like RPG's so id say it was well tailored.

conversely i might find this too much!

It's not my opinion, just what I've read from ME (what I'm guessing) snobs. If they're anything like the XCOM snobs they just bitch because old game design, er, quirks have been removed in favour of streamlining.

I haven't played it, so don't know, but I loved ME2.
