1942 to be re-released?

I've just finished looking at the new wallpapers on http://www.gamewallpapers.com and found a new image of Battlfield 1942.
Nothing special about that, except that the site has been updating old wallpapers for re-releases of old game.
Several PS1 and PS2 games have had old wallpapers updated for this reason, and of course the PSN (SEN) store has seen a big influx of these old games.

So my speculation is that maybe DICE are getting ready to update 1942 with the new game engine?

Personally I'd prefer an update to 2142, now that was a good game. On modern hardware it'd be amazing.

I should have posted the original too, a carbon copy of the above, but much smaller.

It's probably nothing but coincidence that GW are remaking old wallpapers and publishers are releasing these games again, and then there's the 1942 wallpaper.

Give us 2143.
