Aimed mainly at Dave.
Dave, if you haven't got it already, get STEAM, then purchase and download Universe Sandbox. I think you'll like it.
I'll get some screenshots for you later.
Basically you can tweak to your hearts content virtually every single planet, star and moon as well as asteroids in the milky way, and possibly other galaxies.
you can change mass, speed, distances and so much other stuff.
It really is a sandbox for the universe.

I downloaded it and give it a whirl,
its good fun and Interesting, But a little disappointed, I never really thought about it, but the Dynamics of the game are based on ones opinion or what they have read.
As the Universe is a big ass place, and we have equipment to see 0.01% of the universe, there is alot of Unanswered questions,
Like Gravity, Dark Matter, Collisions,
And as the game is Based on some of the Main Factors like Gravity, Yet we are to understand the Force our-self,
We know its based on the Mass of a Object, but that's about as far as our knowledge goes.
But thats just my opinion, Maybe i have just looked into it a little too much,
but its interesting to a point, and nice little thing to play with:
A couple of things i would alter.
The Force of Gravity and a number of Asteroids colliding with one another, and over years pulling more into itsself, could create its own Planet,
I simualted this, and i was left with a load of Rocks all together, and they never merged, Kinda like Atoms gathering together.
So overcoming this would add to it.
The Impact of another planet or Asteroid, Would leave parts broken off and chucked into space, knocking something off its course etc, but none of this works....
And Explosions
hehe!!!
But i tell you what would make an Amazing game, that i am looking for after playing this, would be a Sandbox of Earth.
As there would be so many factors you could change, and we understand a fair amount, Not everything, but a good amount to simulate certain things.
Things like altering the Size of earth and see the impact it would have, (As Gravity would be a stronger force) Shrink the earth and there would be less gravity,
Make it closer to the Sun and see the effects of earth, Move it away etc.
Change the way it orbits the sun, Change the Planets around it giving more Gravitational force in another direction.
And seeing what impact it would have on earth, its life, the Green, the water etc.
Simulate the core of the earth to be Bigger, and you would have a greater magnetic field, Make it hotter and see what happens?
there is soo many factors and alterations you could do, and see what impact it would have on earth.
Like what if we had no Moon?
Well if we never had one from the start, we would not have Life on earth as we know it, as the mood played a big factor in the Tides and sweeping stuff from the sea to shore.
But now life has started, what if we had no moon? what would happen?
Over time the Angle the earth is at would drop, and seasons would not be as we know it, It could be Winter here in UK all year round, but in other places Summer all year round.
There would not be ruff seas.
Blaaaaaa am blabbing, i could keep going on and on
i think i would be a great candidate for the job, i think i have researched a little too much into the Universe and out Planet earth.
But its one thing i am very proud of!! i have alot of answers what i wanted to know over the years!! yer its taken years of research but what the hell
