I'd been reading about PSP to PS3 conversions last night, but why not go whole heartedly and convert ALL PSP games and just select a few?
The PS3 has the power to easily upscale to HD. But then again, look at the piss poor Ps1 conversion an the lack of Ps2 conversions.

Either way, Infinite, you've got some new markets for MH Tri-Companion.

Some early in game footage, and it's looking pretty good.

They are probably using it as a test of the economic viability of doing. It's guaranteed to sell like hot cakes in Japan. We're still waiting for a release of the PSP version outside Japan, so we won't be seeing this anytime soon (unless they fuck off the PSP one and just chuck that on the store...)

I hope it's a proper PS3 port (i.e. trophies and inbuilt online) and not some shitty Mini type thing...

They need to quit fucking around and just make a pure PS3 one (or port MH Frontier to PS3, which was always on PC and has recently been released on XBox in Japan. That is one MMO I would pay for. Without doubt).

Thanks for the news though - it was new info for me and it gives me a little warm feeling inside :)

@Daz: unfortunately my app only applies to MH Tri on Wii. I'd need to release other versions for different MHs. I've thought about an MHFU one, and I probably would do an MHP3 one if it gets global release.
