Yeah, I want to get this. Can you let me know if it's patched when you fire it up? I don't fancy losing my character after 40 hours due to a save corrupting lock-up...

IT should be cool - the patch went into submission with Sony a while ago. It should have been released by now. Let's me know, as I'll probably pick this up when I go to get KZ3, and it can sit in my pile of "to play". Along with God of War 3, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Fallout 3, Tombraider, Frontline Evolved and Enslaved LOL.

Good job there's nothing decent coming out this year...
Oh wait...shit.

No - I played the demo and loved it, so asked my bro for it for Xmas '09 and it's been sat there, unopened, since. New MP games always take precedence.

Twice now I've put Fallout 3 on with the view to finishing it, but I find it a bit boring. And first time I tried to play it was about 5 days before my Demon's Souls turned up from Hong Kong, so it got put on hold for that. Getting all the DLC on PSN+ for free inspired me to try again...

well so far i like, the graphics are nice, sound is so so, soundtrack very nice, story very very good, i must say its drawing me in very well

despite biowares best efforts though with the dark horse comic intro and you being able to forge your own character, i still feel a bit left out when i dont know what certain things the NPCs are yammering on about, im doing a lot of "whats that?" responses ha

That when Wiki becomes your friend :)
I'm sure the first game is documented to fuck...

Did it patch?

The more i play the more impressed i am, the story is sucking me in, some of the characters are great garus and the proffesor spring to mind, and the squad combat i love its nice simple intuitive control! i avoided squad combat games like brothers in arms because they were too complicated, but this is spot on

im still loving this game but god it sucked me in today i played it for something like 4 hours! not good! ive decided to self impose a one hour gaming slot if feasible.

the depth of this game is amazing, but also very daunting, i couldnt possibly take on a bigger game than this as its taking all my attention at this point, its perhaps a little too big in my opnion

have seen some very bad glitches recently, gaming freezes and then jumps for no apparent reason, and shepherd has suddenly somehow climbed invisible objects i havnt been able to climb down off! and had to restart whole missions! the graphics on the "firewalker" pack especially the vehicular bits would bake a PS1 embarrassed horrible blocky textures. and did it really need a vehicular section?

btw Infinites it got a patch about a week ago but im not sure if that fixed the corruption problem, either way i never encountered it

Finished the game! its been an epic trawl and ive really enjoyed it, i was even nervous before the last mission, its a long time since a game has done that to me

Yeah I got it at the same time I got KZ3 as Game had it for £25. But I should probably run through Fallout 3 first so I can play the DLC I got from PS+ before my subscription expires...
