Electronic Arts will unveil Battlefield 3 this March.
The publisher confirmed to the media it will host an unveil event for the game on Mar. 1, 2011, taking place during the week of the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Additionally, EA says it will also have new game announcements as well as hands-on time with many upcoming titles, including: Shadows of the Damned, Alice Madness Returns, Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning, and Crysis 2.
Those who purchased the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor this past fall received an invitation to the Battlefield 3 beta. Details about the beta's release date have not been announced.
lol posted it on my blog yesterday sometime, but i'm not excited for it, battlefield as we known it from years before is spolied by to many cry babies who seem to hate vehicles in a vehicle game.
DayZ UK 1 - Filter: Dayzmad Paradrop spawns | build your own base | refined repair system | new bandit system
if there was no vehicles, then i wouldnt be in love with the battlefield series. In my opinion bf has broken the standards of which a FPS is classed as 'decent' and have pushed it to greater hights, and based on statistics DICE can stick a finger up at those cry babies! BRING ON MORE VEHICLES ISAY!!
DICE broke the mould when they introduced actual phsyical damage to buildings and scenery with Bad Company 1.
Bad Company 2 took it a step further, and introduced a new tactic into FPS Gameplay.
But they've being breaking moulds since BF:Vietnam, with realistic weapon handling. For the fisrt time in any FPS (that I can remember) bullets went all over and not just on one path. I think thats why Vietnam wasn't so popular, becuase it took a lot of getting used to.
I love them for making amazing games, but I hate them for not fixing bugs.
That said, everyone else is just playing catch up with DICE.
