Did anyone watch it?
I've just seen it, and I think it's very brave of ITV to show it, but I'm glad they did.
Basicaly it shoves two fingers in the face of BBC, ITV, Fox news, Sky news and others. Some of the anchor people also get a bit of a roasting, and all of them say they feel "shame" for reporting what and how they did in the prelude to the Iraq invasion.
Fascinating stuff, and it probably means different things to different people, but I got from it a new way of watching the news: Dont believe a word of it, or ask myself what is the Government propaganda machine trying to sell me?
Documentary: The war you don't see.

I didn't see it so comment on that instance in specific, but I don't think the news is so much driven by politics as it is driven by commerce. By that I mean whatever little truth is there is twisted and melded to sell it, not so much to cover up political wrong doing.
The problem is kind of like creative Chinese whispers. These reporters have very little real sources of information, so they take what they can get, take a little more from other people then make up the padding.
