Anyone heard of an online game called Desert Operations?

For the people not in the know,
Its a VERY Basic Online Strategy game, Like C&C but without seeing the Units and working on Numbers and Statistics,
Its a slow but i find addictive game,

Anyway, i had a few High Powered Subs and no defence and a few crappy ground troops

Some guy sends a spy sat-alight up and sees what units i have (Now he can only see what Units i have Assigned to a Fleet and and not the Depot Units

Anyway i have my crappy troops assigned to a feet and the subs in the depot

He seen my troops and also sent another satalight up and seen my defence was nothing more then a few hundred lines of barbed wire.

So he gets mouthy on the chat like,
Ohhhhh should i attack this guy, should i show him who is the boss,
Oh i would not have to try hard it would be nothing more then a little target practise,
And this guy went on and on and on and on,
(To be honest i fort this was going to be game over for me)

So i got my subs out only like 2,000 of them, the subs are Ballistic submarine Typhoon-class (I spent all my time researching them why i lack everything els)
so i assigned them to fleet 1 with the troops and just sat back and hoped for the best

My 80,000 Foot Troops and 25,000 Anti Tank guys got killed like a whore,
then my Subs ripped him to shit,

He come in with

20,000 tanks,
55,000 Anti Tank foot troops
20,000 Frog Men
100,000 foot troops
16,000 Jaguar 2

He Left with 0
And lost a shit load of buildings that got added to my collection mwahahahaha

So i then built 25,000 more and sent 3 fleets into his base and different attacks
and that's it, never seen the cocky idiot online agian!!!

Destroyed his base and his points LOL
and got all the buildings i destroyed!!

Its basic dont think you will see the units you built,
nor will you see any amazing graphics, its a Statistic game,
They attempt to work on real time,
You select a building to be built it can take Hours to build,

Or in my case i just built 1,000 sky Scrapers and it took 10 days for the build to finish!

Just a little something to pass the time,

Just on something set it to construct and sign back in next day or w/e

Thatss not a bad little idea!!

There would be 0 Issue to do with Memory and Performance as its a statistic game,

All i have to do is Collect a Billion of data on different units, Strengths, weakness etc

Your biggest hurdle, if you want multiplayer of any kind, is doing a webservice and connecting to it to transmit data either to a server or between players. But that probably more your strength than mine... And connecting to a webservice for XML packet transfer with the iPhone is piss easy. But I know fuck all about webservices.

However, I do have my 2D OpenGL engine in a very useable state, so if you want a game shell that is ready to go, give me a shout. The sound engine needs to be reworked to use OpenAL instead of what it uses now, but it would do for this project...
