I think you know me just by PSN ID, but some of you are probably asking who is EUK007? I think i'm the only non British member of this clan, that's why i'm quite hesitant to introduced myself. Anyways, I know that you guys are cool, smart and open minded person

My Name is Edcel you can call me Ed, 31 yrs old and I'm from Manila (Philippines) and still single, but regularly banging here and there, lol My PSN ID (EUK007) stands for E-name, U-middlename, K-Surname and 007 bcoz i'm a big James Bond Fan.

I got my bachelors degree in 1998 (computer science) and since then worked as Systems Engineer in Manila. Our company was the distrubitor of E-POS and most of our clients are in the restaurant and hotel business. In 2001, country was hit by recession and our company was badly affected. Unfortunately, I was one of the employees who were laid-off.

At that point I was jobless for weeks and thought to myself that I was missing something and needs to try my luck outside the country. I wasn't choosy at all which country would I like to work coz I think any country will do, I just need to leave my place.

So guess what, I went to Saudi Arabia (quite boring eh) and been working here since 2001. I'm currently working as Asst. IT Manager and our company is one of the biggest retailer of luxury/jewelry watches in Saudi Arabia. I'm based in our head office (Al-Khobar) and doing those IT administration stuff to technical support to all our branches in Saudi and Bahrain as well.

Well I think you have an idea of how is Saudi Arabia, it's a very conservative country (boring :z_z_Z: )and nothing much on the entertainment side. I regularly go to Bahrain for chilling out which is only 45 min. drive in Saudi Arabia (Al-Khobar).

Playing with my PS3 along with you guys gives me a happy day Cheers!

Nice to meet you Edcel, there's a few countries I'd like to see before I die, and Saudi Arabia is one of them, Egypt, Russia, and Spain are a few of the others.
My ex-boss goes to SA a lot for holidays, infact 2-3 times a year, absolutely loves it, he is loaded though.

All the countries that you've mention are worth visiting for, been also to Egypt though.

Saudi Arabia are divided into 3 locations which are Riyadh (Capital, Central Region), Jeddah(Western Reqion) and Dammam (Eastern Region). Riyadh is the capital and also the city where the Saudi Royal Family resides. Jeddah is located on the western part and is very near to Egypt. You can take a ferry boat from Saudi to Egypt in 1 hour. Dammam is located on the Eastern part and is very near to Bahrain, which you can drive within 45 min (depends on the traffic) via the Causeway Bridge which is around 20 km (point to point).

BTW, which city does your ex-boss goes? I think he's probably going to Dammam (Doha, Al-Khobar), which is a very large City and also the place of ARAMCO (Arab American Oil Company) which employs lots of western expatriates. All the oil reserves of Saudi Arabia are stored on this location (Dammam), and they're all distributed by major pipelines which runs up to a thousand plus kilometers. Dammam is a high value key position, thats the reason why fucking Saddam attacks Saudi Arabia from the north going to the east (back in Gulf War '91).
