Looks like there will be time for a few more play throughs - they've pushed ME3 back into the first quarter of next year. It sounds, initially, like a kick in the nuts, but when you hear why and think about what else is coming this year, it's really not...
Casey Hudson, Executive Producer of the Mass Effect series wrote:Mass Effect 3 will be released in the first three months of 2012. The development team is laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone's expectations.
That just gives more time to play Deus Ex, Brink, Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and a load of other cool shit coming this year... Oh well. Tough life innit? Also, I still haven't got around to ME2 yet lol...

I just bought ME2 this morning from Morrisons @ £10.
I couldn't believe it, so of course I had too.

Xbox 360 that is, not the PS3 version.

Pffft inferior version (by all accounts).

* Old engine
* No DLC (on the disk)

LOL "fanboy"...you've had an EggBox for what? 10 minutes?

All those shunning Sony are also fanboys - but of online instead of a brand. And in Sy's case, I think it's quite serious :)

TBH I've no idea if it really is inferior, I just read IGN's review before I bought it.

@shopto it's still £25 so in all honesty, I dont care, I've saved £15

PUD! You can do it... go on. You know you want to.

You just need to complete Mass Effect 2 on insanity difficulty for the platinum. Bag that number 2 to go along side your Bad Company 2 one :ymhug:

Wow this game is so much better on insane difficulty. You have play pretty tactically. And I'm going for all the renegade options and generally being a bastard this time around too, which mixes it up nicely.

Just rescued Garrus and it was pretty intense...he had a sliver of health left at the end :-ss
