we all moan about bf1943, lag, poor squad invites, flawed private matches etc but killzone 2 has none of these issues

i played a couple of games with codayop last night and it felt good to play this baby again

lets have a private match sometime soon guys, who's in?

OK here are my issues,

Killzone 2 very good game, No issues, never had any,

The controls to completly different controls from battlefield to killzone,
"Allthough this is not a massive issue"
Its a little hard going from one set to another, you end up sucking on one of the games after playing it for a while,

The other one, am more of a tastic man, i enjoy sneaking, and ambushing the enemys,
what i find with Killzone, its not,
Its a one for all and all for one massicar,
You run to the spot of action and blast away,

And thats the trype of game it is, Teamwork is very hard due to how small the maps are,

if they made them bigger, with more places to go, then am sure the game would be prettys good,
but for this thats why its not my type of game.

Took me ten minutes or so to stop pressing triangle everytime you got near, but once in the swing I remembered game.

Seriously freaks me out when "the Bomb" goes off.
Seddon had to show me where to hide as everytime it went off previously I got burnt.
So the bomb siren goes off, I realise I'm at the wrong end of the map to where Sed instructed me to hide in case of Emergencies, I frantically run around like a headless chicken looking for shelter, find this tiny little opening under a building and crouch, and pray. [rc]BOOOOM![/rc] ....... I LIVE! heart genuinely pounding (maybe not such a good idea for you Sy) but it just adds something to the game. Piss myself when in a public game and everyone just scatters like rats!
Liking all the ladders on that level too - a couple of time I got to highest point, sat and waiting for you Seddon. Looking down with you in my Launcher sights, just waiting for you to stay FUCKING STILL long enough. Slippery little fuck bag!

Yeah, superb graphics (apart from the jittery walking), never crashes, sound is perfect, weapons are responsive.
All I need is the flamethrower. Life will be even sweeter.

BFBC - fucking good game - but those with 1943 dont play it anymore so only noobs on there at moment.

Mr Enigmatron, from what angle are you looking at the maps? Sure, there are a few small ones (Radec, Tharsus) but there are also a few enooooooorrrrmmoouuus ones (cant remmber the names, but the one with three bridge walkways is massive!!)
I'll give you the lack of sneaking around thing, on a public game, but when a few like minded souls get together on a big map it can be fun.
Last night, on a mid sized map, me and Sed battled it out. Lots of sneaking and strategic placing of turrets. On a massive map with 2 teams of 4 - its fucking brilliant.
I completely agree its a different kettle of apples compared to BFBC, its not as much "fun", but it has lots of clever bits to compensate.

If I'm wanting to let stress out, I play a small map with loads of players and hook up with my Rocket Launcher.
If I'm wanting to go sneaky sneaky and play with Mr Sniper gun, I play conquest Harvest Day on BFBC.
If I fancy team play I either choose mid map, small players on KZ2. Or team up on Gold Rush on BFBC.

They both have their pro's and cons.

Bring on Warhawk 2.
