Thoughts about Support Class on BFBC2

I read that in BFBC2 there will be no ammo crates, and you will need the help of someone as support class to replenish your ammo.
Does anyone know if this will mean Support will have unlimited Ammo, or if they will need to stock up at a base etc.

We see loads of players using Support class and not healing you as it is, even if you jump around and crouch infront of them. I reckon this could be negative aspect of the game.

Looking forward to the blackhawk's miniguns though, they sound sweet.

in 2142 the support class dropped ammo crates, and scored points from this.
It worked in 2142, who can say about BFBC2?

one thing that they could do was supply you by just being near you in a vehicle, or you being in a vehicle and them outside.
but man to man, they had to drop an ammo box to score points.

Ah makes abit more sense if they drop ammo crates.

I never played 2142, not too into futuristic shooters.

if anything this will encourage camping but will stop snipers from hogging ammo crates for sensors

it did actually work pretty well, only when it came to camping titan corridors though.
The resupply by proximity was probably the only reason that people really didnt run out though.
Time will tell.

yer they have gone back to original support role - in all bf's apart from console versions, the support guy would dish out ammon packs about the same size as medi kit.

Lookin forward to it, it will deffo stop them snipers sitting nxt to ammo crates spamming recon balls n shit

i have just started to get into support now, the only thing i dont like it the amount of bullet you use to kill one person.

thats because your using the shit support gun (LMG one)- its a brown colour and the worst for support.

ps next time your in the chopper take out the arty instead of fucking about with 1 man on the floor, me n astro and team were getting battered by arty glitcher and then u go n get owned in your chopper - which means arty just bashed the shit out of the base.

I originally thought BFBC2 would be out at the end of the year but seen on some video that its scheduled for Q1 2010. I'm sure I'll be getting 1943 to keep me occupied til then.

Its an amazing class for points if played right with squad members
It would be nice if you could use the other D-Pad buttons to request health or ammo packs from team members (Simples . Or maybe something like what they have on BF:Heroes but not as homosexual :yaeh_am_not_durnk:

3. i was trying to take out the infantry trying to kill two of us
4. i had a chopper up my ass.
5. i use the gun with the green red dot sight.
