I know what it does, it makes me put the KZ2 disk in and download the patch then check that it does not fix the controllers, swear and take the disk out.

cant remember where i read it but the 1.25 patch was supposed to be just for creating a new "create game" section for the DLC maps.
But people who havent dloaded the maps still have to do the 1.25 - I think its so everyone has the same menu items ready for when they do actually buy the pack.

Fucking loving the new maps. The transport train thing is gonna be oh so fucking sweet for 8 player mayhem, and the other one - quite fucking big and reminds me a lot of Unreal layouts.

I wasn't a fan of the new maps to be honest. I like what they tried to do with the train level, but I'm not a fan of the insta-death areas. And I find the other one fairly uninspired.
Wasn't the 1.25 patch also the one that extends the ranking system all the way to the President? lol

even worse, i was chasing ashber100 across the top of the train, he was carrying the prop speaker, i forget to move out the way, get decapitated and watch as ashber meets the same fate 20 metres ahead of me!!
