I've tweaked all the images, added a few more and rounded the corners of the background.
I've also added a 2px pinstripe to the nothing playing images

Updated again and added the spin stripe to all the backgrounds.
There's an idea I want to try, some of the BG's are layered and a few images BREAK this layer and pop-out of the pin stripe, it's actually a really good effect and very subtle.
But I don't want subtle. I want to break the boundary even more!
It'll take a while to plan and process though.
Bottom line, it looks like the text is leaving a shadow.
This looks like the DJ is outside of the background.
