Is Flight Control HD just not realistic or challenging enough for you?
How about something a little bit better?

Most games are simulators of some kind, battle simulators, racing simulators or fighting simulators. But this is the first time I’ve seen a realistic Air Traffic Control Tower simulator. Flight Control is good, but this game is so many level above it that, it’s amazing.

So at some point in your life you wondered what it might be like to work in an Air Traffic Control tower, but were afraid to ask. Well be afraid. This simulator is quite amazing at pulling you in and emulating everything you need to control the skies around you and your desktop. So good in fact that you actually feel a rush of adrenaline when you see 3 incoming birds and 2 outbound birds all vying for your time and attention, and practically begging you not to kill them.

The first Tower you’ll take charge of (if you have any sense) is St Thomas (above), a single runway and terminal makes for a great induction, you’ll learn the lingo (and there’s a lot to learn), how to use speech recognition and how the layout of the screen and various instruments all tie in together.

I won’t spoil the excitement of discovery and tell you what everything does, needless to say it all matters, and it all comes together to make your job of working in an Air Traffic Control Tower possible, fun and a little exciting.

Now that’s not all there is either. If you head over to FeelThere you’ll see there’s a huge selection of addons to really get your teeth into.

Also when you think you’ve mastered the 3 introduction towers, you can even play on-line! You can control taxiing traffic, or incoming traffic, or outbound traffic too. You play as a team to help one another to achieve the dream.

So overall I love this game, it’s unique, challenging and even give an adrenaline rush when everything comes together just right. While I haven’t yet played enough to feel confident to play online, it’s something I’m seriously looking forward too. Simply Brilliant!
