I'm looking to upgrade my PS3 HDD, and I'll most likely use a hard drive out of my PC.
But what to upgrade...?

I could remove my 1TB HDD and replace it with a 2TB HDD, the 1TB then goes into my PS3 - it's getting full after all.

OR

I could remove my 500GB system drive and put that in my PS3 (double what I have in my PS3 already) and get a 500GB SSD.

2TB - £80
500GB SSD - £150

I have a couple of upgrades to do for family members, and I could just shuffle things around and get a free 2TB HDD. But that would leave my PS3 with the 200GB drive.

Have you thought of using a ssd hdd?
An explosion now and then is nice. Keeps the mind sharp,

A hybrid?
No, I'd rather see what difference a SSD makes before I try them.

Put the SSHD in whichever you use most frequently.

IF and we all know it's a big if. If I do go for SSD, I'll install it in my PC, but not until I install it in the PS3 first... as a science experiment of course. :ymapplause:
