It done the Job, Plug it in and it stood there while charging.
I thought my Desk in work needed brightening up, so i went and bought a Clingo Desktop Stand.
It Arrived this Morning, i was worried after ordering it, it was going to be some Plastic stand, and struggle to support the weight.
Well on arrival i was surprised by the weight. None of this cheap plastic.
So i chucked away my old stand, and put this in its place.
After Pushing my Samsung Galaxy S2 against it, it held Well, Very well. almost too well. i could hold the stand of this Unit and swing it around and my phone will stay in place.
It Rotates very nice, A nice Landscape or Portrait mode, or even half way between both if i fancy it,
As the joint is a 360, you can put it any way you like.
I was interested to see if this would Stick against my phone with the Silicon / plastic based phone case. And to my surprise it held just as well.
No more removing my phone case no more.
I thought i would put this to the Challenge and Stick it to my Nexus 7, While it sticks perfectly, there is a little too much weight for the 360 joint,
BUT it still holds it on some angles and while its upright, if i have the charging cable in place, it stops it from falling any lower.
Its actually a very nice Stand, Looks the part, Universal for anything, My Iphone, Samsung G S2, and my Nexus.
It does not grip the sides so Damage on the sizes will not accrue, None of this holding the cradle with two hands opening and trying to place your phone in between the arms.
All in all beautiful.
It would get a 8/10 from me,
if the 360 Joint was adjustable so loosen or tighten, it would be bloody perfect.
