Got an acer iconia 500 its great so no plans to change it for the foreseeable future.

Pre Ordered mine from Ebuyer.

Was really wanting a Tab, and starting looking at buying one
But with the Tegra 3 Processor,

You cannot go wrong, and for the price, its a Right good deal.

Only Draw backs.
No Sim Card to will require Mobile Data Tethering.
No External Memory, so if you get a 8GB or a 16Gb model
thats the size your stuck with

or technicalys, 8gb = 5.6gb and 16 gb is like 12.2 GB
After the Format of the Drive and the OS being installed.

I know alot of people who ordered the 8gb have cancelled and gone for the 16, for the 40 more its not bad.

I might look at the Wi-Drive too

got galaxy tab 7 plus few weeks ago for 300. 16gb 32 gb sd 3g and back cam. ics this or next month. quad core is nice but nexus 7 is a gimmick to sell jelly bean.

Its not a gimmick, or they would of not released the source already.
Will be on most handsets soon.

They have actually made a good set forward in the market.
Looking at what is on the net for production and selling,

There is little profit in respect to other tablets.
I personally think the reason they are selling it for next to nothing,
is to attempt to wipe out the Ipads.

And going off the Specs, and price, they have a pretty dam good chance.

Pay out £400 for a Ipad that gets upgraded with Minute things every release
Or pay out £200 for something with twice the specs that has alot more felxability.

Am more interested in looking at the tegra 3 it comes shipped with.
Suppose to be some Games coming out just for it, and the graphics do look sweet.


THere is a couple of games for the tegra 2 i was wanting to try on my phone, but i failed to get the Emulated driver to work on my android properly.


I was almost tempted to get the Galaxy KK,
The 10.1 i think the latest one was.
but there was one thing it was lacking that i kinda really wanted: tegra 3

And for the price difference for the Mobile and Expandable Micro SD, was just getting silly for what it will be used for.

they are not trying to compete with ipad dave for the fact that nexus 7 is 7 inch. the price is low because it is a budget version of a tablet. mine without 3g is100 quid cheaper. what is the point having a tablet you can only use at home? yeah yeah yeah you can tether, but mine is on 24/7 getting updated real time. if you start tethering might as well get a nice laptop.

Not really, the only time am going to use my tablet is at home, in work or on the train.

Train you can never get a signal because moving too quickly and dropping signal, so its pointless.

You can use a tablet quite happily without a internet connection on the move,
I want it for Books, games and movies,

Browsing the web when am at home yer, so its pointless from my perspective.

Updated over real time, well i dont even have my phone doing that, Apps get updated when i tell them,
Only thing that is ussed 24/7 is Emails.

Loving me tab
One slight downside, that I thought it would of had is TV out
as I do a lot of traveling, its handy to plug in to any HD TV,

Not sure if it will ever be supported, if is a ROM that needs changing or if there is no hardware support for it.
Time will tell,

All though root your device am get OTS on it.
