Barbecues

The other day, myself and my housemates were having a discussion about the recent hot wether.
The conversation moved onto barbecues, and how great they though they were. I disagreed and said they I disliked them. They are require a lot of effort, are temperamental and 90% of the time burn the shit out of your food, thus ruining it.

They said I was a fool, and everyone love BBQ's! I was outnumbered and so I left it.

Granted they create a gathering of friends/family, and you can have a nice cold beer outside. But come on guys, please tell me I'm not the only one.

I liked BBQs since I was a child. We often went to the river with the family as we had a little motorboat, so yeah living in tents making bonfires go nicely with BBQing

Having a BBQ miles away by a river or something actually makes sense. But doing it in your back garden with a perfectly good oven 10 yards away is retarded IMO.
