Inception and it's ending?

What do you think the ending means?
It's really about the totem on the end of the table if it falls or not:
There are alot of theories on it, but this is my thought..

At the begining of the movie, Cob says that the spinning top is actually Mol's totem (his dead wife) And if you pay attention, whenever Cob is in a dream he has a WEDDING RING on, that's actually his totem. at the end of the film, you'll see that Cob isn't wearing a wedding ring, which to me indicates that he is in reality, but saying that it still doesn't really explain the rest of the movie in terms of all the underworld n shit.. strange..

When he dreams - he has a ring, because in his dreams he's still married. In a real life there is no ring and as for mols totem we never know if it stops spinning or not.

And the final argument is that micheal caine is always in reality and not his dreams and if you looked closely the kids actaully had some subtle clothes differences and they had aged a bit.

I think it's unlikely that if it were reality it would be that same situation that he's been dreaming about all those times. It's more likely he got stuck under all those layers of dreams...

But does he not need the young girl in the dream the create the room / building / textures.

I would not mind giving it a rewatch actually its been a while.

LOL Sy I can't force myself to watch 1 film a week. I can watch the entire series in 1 day or not watch anything for a month. The thought of making it regular routine already puts me off the idea
