Woot..

Me n Infinitestates had quite a few games last night!!

He won me more times than i won him, i under esitmated him on the first game!
LOL!

We agreed to the first match being a 10min "build ya base" game, then attack.
Well by the time i had teched up i saw him bringing his nasty warships to my base lol.. Warheads blowing my buildings n allsorts pmsl.

I managed to build a alternate base but by this time infinite was well n truly owning me ..

1st game went to infinite!

Had a few more games we started playin about 10pmish till gone 1am lol.

I won the last 2 of the night, which was good, walked robots into his base and generally walked and smashed into anything that moved.
I lost my airfield and docks in this game, due to infinites airships dropping bombs all over me lol... so i was able to get a enginner to take over his docks, which give me chance to build and steal a few of his techs

Then we played me & infinite vs HARD AI - the cained us, we lasted about 7 minutes lmao.

such good fun, nice break from the casual games and the saturated fps genre, - u guys shud get C&C if u get the chance!

Yeah I downloaded that last night after our little session

Man, that's the last time I try and use a faction I've never played before lol

By the time I've found out how to unlock the top tier techs, there's fucking mechs crawling out of every orifice of my base...

I was very impressed with the net code as well. We had a few problems outside the games (e.g. I would get dc'd from the host after a game, then it was full if I tried to join again), but inside the game it all ran smoothly with only one instance of lag that I noticed (1 tank jumped 1 time, and not very far).

Until Sym's PS3 crashed lol. But that's what happens if you try and look up the skirts of your flying robot school girls or whatever the fuck they are...

And sweet fucking jesus... You mean to tell me that AI was only hard? I'm doing the campaign on hard and it's now where near that fucking insane. Before I even had a war factory the AI was on me with massive numbers of every unit type. I just had to sit there and watch my base get decimated in about 3.2 seconds. Note to self: don't put AI in skirmishes because it clearly cheats. A lot.

The only down side is the fucking nukes. Can you set the top tech level when you make a game, so we can rule out nukes? That might make for better games...

sure we can play with no sw (no special weapons) i mean u have to build them for some unit upgrades but wont use the nuke itself, thats how alot of PC games are played too.
