Because it took people and support away from BC2. At least BC2 was an improvement on BC1 in many ways. BF3 is just shit through and through.

Dice and EA are businesses. Which do you think will earn them more money this year, BF3 or BC2? If BF3 is really that shit, people will return to BC2.

Some do return indeed. But many think BC2 is dead and don't bother. In fact ask Sy why he doesn't play BF3 any more but also refused to join me Pud and Dazzy for a couple of games just to fool around yesterday?
