Just one concern at the moment with bf3, comms.
Shit, like bad company 1 willy nilly garble shit.

Ruins it.

Lets hope they get on top of it.

2 things are not good with me at the minute sy

1) comms are shit as mentioned
2) squads get broken up, in BFBC2 that was rare, in BF3 it seems the rule!

ive got an extra complaint now regarding the controls, it seems that when you aim down sights the sensitivity of the controls is not reduced, on most other FPS i know if you ADS it lowers the sensitivity to what i assume makes it easier to aim and stops you from walking around just ADS all day, ive missed kills because the controls are over sensitive, trouble is turn down the sensitivity and other bits become sluggish, just have to adapt i guess.

Well EA had alot of server trouble from aout 9pm onwards tonight, half of us couldn't connect till late.

I have a few concerns about bf3 longevity though lol.
I am not 100% feeling the game right now, i like it don't get me wrong, but the maps are not really all that great.

seine crossing
caspian
kharg island
Nos canals
operation firestorm

for main conquest.
The other maps in conquest rotation are pretty shit lol.
That grand bazaar is awful, it's just basically 3 flags in a straight line down an alley, horrible design lol, meatgrinder.
Operation metro on conquest is alright too, if u get a decent team other wise it's just a mess.

BUT

I do like the game, the tanks are great KHARG is a good map for all round fun, helis/jets/tanks same for caspian all balanced quite well...for now anyway.

Must fix problems:

Mics
Delay on controls/sensitvity
Squad system
Lag (but lets give them a break, it is release)

Going to play a bit of infantry tomorrow/ground work need to get used to the BIG recoil and control problems i am not feeling right now.. need to iron myself out a bit on them.
So feel free to join lol.

Played it for an hour. Got disconnected from 3 games in 4. Emptied clips into people to have them turn and one-shot me. Tried the campaign which just seems to constantly funnel you linearly into death. Went back to Dark Souls to calm down/get over the disappointment.

Forced myself to try it again (something you shouldn't have to do with a new game). Joined with Dave and Seddon. Eventually got into a game after some trial, error and misunderstanding. Actually had some fun (one game).

Dave left (on purpose). Seddon spawned on me as I lifted off in my second ever helicopter flight. We both swam half a mile to an amphibious tank. I lol'd. Seddon probably cussed. Everyone got DC'd. Spent about 20 minutes trying to reconnect to the multiplayer menu, but having to quit to XMB because it got stuck loading. Game over for the night.

Maybe next time DICE should release an open beta slightly more than two weeks before the game hits the fucking shelves. And when you have a track history of developing something that sort of works - don't throw it all out and then release something that works even less than it ever has. That's how we ended up with Vista.

I've said it before and I'll say it again for the cheap seats...
SERVER RENTALS for consoles.

would you agree with me on the control sensitivity issue then sy? its just too damn sensitive when ADS if you go to track a target it moves to quick you end up firing everywhere he knows your there turns and slots you with one bullet [-x

I think give it time and they May open up Server Rentals

With a Server Select, And a Filters,
And Also the option to JUST SHOW OFFICIAL EA SERVERS.

Make it questionable if they will be available to rent
