My phone is up for renewal,
So after some serious hunting, i went with:
Samsung Galaxy S II

Should be here tomorrow, Some of the benefits.
Very Fast Phone: With a Dual core, Exynos, 1200 MHz Processor and 1024 MB of RAM.

A Lovely 16GB of Memory, and much improved battery life, (Alot better compared to the Desire my current phone)

Also has a MHL Micro to HDMI connector, So rigging your phone to the TV via HDMI port is super easy! so portable Media player and Game machine haha!!

Some Pros,
The Large Screen does loose a little in the Pixals,
And also its very very thin, and light,
Heavy and a bit of depth normally makes the phone good and robust

Anyway! it will be here tomorrow :)

Does it support passive proximity tag reading/writing? I know google phones already support this.

Some Good Roms if you have Rooted it:

If you like Sense: then 3.0 is Good and Stable:
Am using: Cool3D AceS.
Its good and Stable, Fast and nice animations.
It relies on the SD Card alot, so you will want a Decent size and class 6 or above to not have any lag.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=1040121

Sense 2.5
LeeDroid HD, Good Rom, Well Supported, No more updates as all bugs have been ironed out, But Overall nice and Fast

GingerBread:
Ginger Villain 3.2

I have used his Roms for the best part of 2 years! A good developer, and i used to work close with him on the DeFroST ROM (That was Froyo ROM)
All his Roms are very Small, Very Fast, and lots of Space for Apps.
Never really had to do a Wipe on his Roms because of Crap.

Only reason i moved off his Rom is i wanted a change on me Phone, Hence the Sense Rom now :)

Have you decided to root it yet Put?

Well i got this yesterday,
Within a Hour i rooted it and installed a Custom ROM,

And What can i say about the phone, WOW!!!!!!!!!

Pros:
* Beautiful Display, Very clear, very nice, very slick, Very Big
* Amazingly fast, I am surprised at how quick and responsive the phone is.
* Web Browsing, Bloody Fast!!! Quicker than my Iphone, and i fort that was quick, This site loads in under 2 seconds on a 3G connection.
* Alot of performance, I quickly downloaded the N64 Emulator (Alot of phones stuggle to play it, All the ROMS i chucked at it, played like they do on the N64! very quick! no lag nothing
* Switching between the 7 Home Screen, All loaded with Widgets, No lag, not hangs, nothing. Far too quick!
* Battery life! Improvement on all phones, I Rooted it, Installed Clockwork Recover, Then a Custom ROM, Then all my Apps and Tools, Configures all my Widgets and Settings, played some games, Made some calls, Done some texting, and a fair amount of web browsing,
Battery is on: 72%
(My Desire taking a battering like that would be done to 40- something easy!!!)

Its Average FPS is around 60
And on a Mark of Quadrent Score, Where you see Neus One 2.2+
The Bar is 3x the length of it easy :D
(Score is 3192)
Nexus One 2.2 is around: 1200

Cons:
* Its Bigger than the Iphone 4, So a bloody big phone in respective to the Screen size, But it is amazingly SLIM!!!!!
* Very Light! too Light!!! some people would see this as a Plus, but i normally like a bit of weight in me phone, This has nothing,

I have had a couple of glitches with it, but it could be down to the custom ROM.

1st. I went to use my Camera, the whole phone went dead (Like the battery was pulled out while using the phone, you know when you get a display still on the screen for a few seconds)
The display went MEGA bright, and the phone was unresponsive.
Pulled the battery, and put it back in, not happened again.

2nd. I took me phone off charge this morning, Went to the bathroom, Went to wake me phone up, and it would not wake up...............
(Now this could of been down to me, Because i was pressing the button rather quickly, and there is like a 0.5 Second delay before the screen wakes up)
This is ROM thing, i think its because the Sleep and Wake time on the CPU are low to preserve battery life.

Other than that, Its faultless!!! It must be one of the best phones if not THEEEEE best phone i have had.

If you want to compare performance, Its as responsive as the Iphone4
And this phone Multitasking Properly, Not saves it position and shuts down the App.

wiht a 1GB Ram and a Dual Core processor,
I was expecting Low battery or some Lag issues.
but it handles VERY well!!!
9-9.5 out of 10

(It would get a 8.5 - 9 if i didnt like the big screen, But with the MEGA fast browsing, its nice to browse the web on a Larger screen on the phone, Makes it more friendly and readable.

Edit:
I forgot to add, i Have a Adaptor to PLug a HDMI lead into the Mini USB Port,
This outputs 1080p.
And i have a player that Supports MKV and AVI files :D Aswell as all your others.
Plugging it into the TV and quickly watching a movie IS MEGA!!!!
If you carry it around that is!!!

Also the USB controller allows you to Plug a USB pen Drive in to take media off the drive :D

I got BOY PPC 2.3.4 rom from there for my HD2 but they say 4.0 will run on 2.3.x phone so I kinda hoping it will not be long for a custom ROM to surface.
