You said it to me LOL! Anyway Sy, I figured it all out. You will not enjoy BF3 as it is because of the new netcode http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGaP5wTYLtQ

Basically it goes like this, if you like me get annoyed of getting killed in this game, and I know you have even lower tolerance, you will absolutely hate it. They moved portion of hit detection to the client side, means latency now is even bigger issue, and with no server browser, god help you all. On the other note if you don't mind dying you will probably not notice it.

Imagine all those camping recons will now just sit in OOB blasting people with C4 all day long LMAO!

Betas are supposed to be "feature complete". Any developer that is adding new features instead of just fixing stuff after beta is a fucking moron.

But that was when betas were betas - not demos.

boost on the tanks huh? not sure about that. transport choppers seem to handle like before

grand bazaar screams COD map to me, BUT lets not forget we have the likes of arica conquest which is quite a CQB scrap

Those vids look pretty sweet to me. Sounds almost like you're looking for issues now... Nice to see the PS3 get some marketing love, because most of the videos are PC for obvious reasons.

Shame the devs are complete noobs at their own game =))


EDIT: Install for hi-res (optional on XBox. Mandatory on PS3?)...
DICE's Patrick Liu revealed that the game would allow players to install content from one disc that would let the game stream higher resolution textures.

"There's a voluntary install on the 360," Liu said to GamerZines. "I think Rage did it as well, where you can install content to stream higher res textures. We're pushing that technology to the limit, and compared to our competitors, I would argue that we're the best looking game."

Actually this is what worries me the most. I've been checking BC2 stats for all known to me DICE devs and oh boy they all suck with only few exceeding 1.0 K/D but still very low skill levels. The problem is, if you are crap at your own game how can you make it better? If they start catering for the lowest denominator, which looks like they do now, then I predict massive fail. Ok the marketing will get them numbers for the launch but I cannot see this game lasting like BF2 or even BC1.
