It'll only affect the campaign though. I'd love them to put alternate mutliplayer maps on different disks though, just out of spite.

I'd prefer server rentals over a map editor... but both together would be awesome.

Far Cry 2 did it, which is why it still has a community. But I bet Battlefield is way too easy to break through poor mapping.

yeah but if the pc has no mod tools for bf, the console won't be having any either is what i mean

ah yes, but quake wars did have console maps but they were created on the pc.

If i recall didnt the Map Editor come at a later date from the release for BF2.

Am sure i downloaded it after 6 months or a year of playing it
