ribbon problems

I've started to "Mark" my targets as a sniper, and I know in my last game, I marked at least 20.
You need 5 for a single ribbon, so I should have had 4 ribbons, but I only got one.
Now with the sentry bots, I know I got more than 1 ribbon if I got more than the required kills, so is it the second patch thats disabled more than one ribbon per game, or is it just certain ones?

by marking target what does that do?

It highlights enemy bots, air support and ALL personell, including hidden and camoflauged enemy.
But itwork on line of sight only.
It's pretty good for weeding out snipers, even the invisible ones, and the ones with green team names.
I dont know if it works for the whole team or just the person that has the ability.

ok so to get the ribbon is marking the targets sufficient or do the targets need to be destroyed by a teammate?

nope, just mark them.

people were probably ranking up too quickly

last patch must have addressed that

"I think" that others do see them as I saw one guy using cammo get shot before he gave his position away.
Could just be a coincidence though.
