I think it's Quite clear to anyone with half a brain that the Police at the very least in London can't keep a lid on the riots and need step up the force and re-think their tactics.
May that be bringin in Water cannons, Rubber Bullets, CS Gas etc but they need a hand and the only obvious choice is the Army to provide some more man power.
Yet we have politicans who are peddling BS basically about Justice and working with the commmunities and asking people to basically grass on people, I'm sorry but if you live in a City grassing people up just doesn't happen.

Where I live is pretty much surrounded by the rioting, although the closest I've come fortunately is walking past a broken front door on William H Brown. Lewisham, Catford, Croydon and Bromley are all just 10 minutes away, and I work in Clapham.
To be honest, I've been expecting something like this for a while. And I expect it to get a lot worse before it gets better.
This country has been cultivating a tinderbox of arseholes for years with an unchecked wellfare society, and if this isn't it, it will come to a breaking point sometime. The fact that everyone is pinched for money doesn't help either.
The police need to come down like a fucking hammer on these pricks else they will just continue until there is nothing left.
Rubber bullets + headshots = win. Put taxes to use in favour of the people that actually fucking pay them for once.

There is only one thing i would say to the matter!!
And this is why i should be put in power!!!
Bring in the Army!! and Shoot on Sight!!!
See if they still have the balls to trash the place up then!!
There might be a big Bonfire with the corpse's tho
But look on the up side 9/10 of the Riots are unemployed
So take out a 80% population of them scum out and its makes the UK a better place!!
One thing for sure it would save the UK a few Billion Pound

Riots
Following numerous reports of failures on behalf of police to arrest looters or adequately respond to the riots in London that are now sweeping across the entire UK, curfews and troops on the streets are now being readied as authorities prepare to enforce martial law to quell massive civil unrest.
BBC News twice reported this morning that troops were being readied. The statement was first made by a reporter at 8:30am and then repeated by a Metropolitan Police representative who said “all options were on the table”.

here is a summary for you of the nights festivites in liverpool
Basically it appears mass gangs of yoofs decided to team up and cause bother, nothing to do with political statements or racial tension like the Toxteth riots back in the 80s were about
merseyside police are quoted as saying they tried to contain troublemakers rather than have a running scrap with them
Tesco store on Myrtle street was looted
public were urged to avoid the following areas Smithdown Road, Upper Parliament Street, Lodge Lane, Lawrence Road, Princes Road and Princes Avenue
several cars and properties were vandalised although not on the scale as in london
only six people have been arrested
some reasidents believe "its been coming for a while" so expect to see me letting you know what happens tonight.
Tinderbox of arseholes, i love it infinites, this isnt anything to do with politics, or racial tension or social deprevation its to do with a bunch of fucking chavs to cause mayhem.

London, Bristol, Birmingham, Nottingham, Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester.
It wont be long before Bradford kicks off.
Trouble is it gives the Government an excuse for more draconian powers.

The Tottenham riot and subsequent outbreaks of looting are not the products of racial tensions, a leading researcher has told The Huffington Post.
According to Max Wind-Cowie, head of the Progressive Conservatism Project at the left-leaning think-tank Demos, the riots are more a product of cultural inequality. In short, how people are brought up.
“This is just unchecked anti-social behaviour,” says Wind-Cowie. “And it’s not localised to London. A feature of many deprived communities in the UK is a poor level of parenting, which manifests itself as mistrust towards authority. The only way to get round this is by instilling proper values in children.
“There seems to be a knee-jerk reaction to run to race to ascribe blame. This is not about race at all. The rioters themselves are not uniformly black or Asian, but they do have commonalities. As David Lamie [MP for Tottenham] pointed out, the vast majority of people came from outside Tottenham. It was petty criminal gangs.
“Relations between police and the black community have improved immeasurably over the past 15 years. It’s about young people raised with contempt for authority.
“This contempt then spreads to the community, who resent the criminals, then begin to resent the police who they perceive as only being around when something major happens.
Wind-Cowie is equally clear on the best way to deal with the problem:
“It won’t be solved by ringing hands about whether there are enough youth clubs. The Police need to target the anti-social behaviour that has been escalating in everyday life.”

+1 It's like CCTV - I don't care how much they put about. As long as my home is my own, I'm not doing wrong in the streets. It's about time the authorities did take some level of control back and stop being the laughing stock of those who seek to challenge them.Info Wars wrote:There can be little doubt that the vast majority of the rioters are products of the country’s broken society, nihilistic youths who care little about political grievances and are primarily focused with exploiting the chaos to steal as much booty as they possibly can while getting off on mindless violence. This behavior ensures the public will overwhelmingly support whatever measures are proposed to deal with them, even to the point of outright martial law.
PMSL well put. Maybe if the country hadn't spent a generation financially encouraging bottom feeders to reproduce like rabbits while those of us that actually have to support our children struggle to make ends meet, we wouldn't be in this situation. You think one or two parents can effectively raise five plus kids? And that's assuming they even want to try...yorkshirepudding wrote:the part time met chief has also asked people to "stop it"

And where is the help from Europe that we pay through the fucking nose for? But hey - as long as Spain has a new road...

if u lived in any middle eastern country, or south africa or any of those type of countries, yopu'd have your fingers chopped off, you'd have gas thrown into the riots, police would beat you up..you'd be put on a stand for people to hurl objects and poop at you - in britain..they talk about it, it just doesn't have the same effect does it?
People aren't scared here and i think that's what they need to do - enforce something like rubber bullets.
