I played it for a decent amount of time, and Dave was into it for a bit. I think Pud was into it as well - I seem to remember some quality defences with him

I think we'll just have to resign ourselves to the fact that BF will be the only thing we ever sync up on, because it's the only thing we will all pre-order or get on release. Everything is pretty random, and by the time some get around to it others have moved on.

a couple of us got together but it i dunno what caused it to fail, bad map design maybe? im not sure.

Invisible campers and tits with shotguns disguised as team mates IMO. That, and not enough of those maps where one team attacks and the other defends - forget the name of the mode, but there were only 2 maps. And despite that being everyone's favourite mode, GG said they wouldn't release more maps for it...

EDIT: oh, and the removal of spawn grenades meant that spawn raping was rife.
