What do you love and hate about Killzone 2?

I mainly made this thread just to state how fucking awesome the end credits are*. They'd give a Bond film a run for it's money.

So, Love:
* End credits
* Sixaxis tiltable loading screens - fucking cool effect
* The jumping mechanic
* The Helghast look

Hate:
* Offline checkpoints where you have no ammo and/or are getting creamed
* Offline insta-kill (usually when manning a turret)
* Offline running straight through an enemy when trying to melee rush: why no collision?
* Online spawn ammo amount (although I now start with 4 clips, so it's not too bad)
* Unresponsive menus

* Disclaimer: I was quite stoned when I saw them, so they may not be quite as cool as I remember :cool

Two more hates I'm afraid:

Offline, the friendly NPCs are are retarded PS2 copy/paste versions. No only are their animations horribly unfluid, but they have zero reaction when you get killed. They just carry on as is nothing had happened, asking you to open a door or whatever. When the game oozes polish from every pore, why let it slide in an aspect that is with you for the entire offline campaign?

Online, since last night, I have now developed a healthy hatred for the fucking perk or class or whatever the fuck it is that lets the enemy steal allied uniforms. I'm sick of being killed by a "friendly" that I ignored. Is there anyway of telling if they are fake friendlies before they start shooting? Because once they start shooting, you're generally fucked...

Sweep your weapon crosshairs across anybody moving towards you, it causes the disguise to flicker at close range and gives them away, also keep a check on your radar ALL your team show as a green dot on your radar, If the guy near you doesn't have a green dot - kill him.

If somebody on your team is using Spot n Mark ability, this will give the saboteur a red dot, he may also have a red dot when shooting depending on the game settings.

Once he gets a kill he loses the disguise for 30 seconds or so until it recharges.

The main way to spot them is by their behaviour. Why is your mate running towards you or the assassination target you are guarding ? When I was using my disguise to plant C4 traps in doorways, I had to alter my behaviour to blend in. I set a trap, then turned my back to the enemy and let them approach from behind me, they see me up ahead and think I am covering a doorway. Because my gun is pointing the same way as theirs, they don't suspect me. I wait for the Bang behind me lol

My online Hate is the same as one that SY mentioned. The repair tool, to get it you have to master the art of turret placement. If you join a game with other engineers you have to fight to get your turrets down, then they blow yours up to put theirs down. There aren't many games now where you join and see you are the only engineer with 4 turrets available.

In a game with 2 engineers, we should have 2 each right ? Why won't people share ? really pisses me off. Worse if you only need 1 more kill in a round and the greedy bastard destroys your turret. AAArrrrggghh !!!!

Turrets are not my fave weapon and I am sick of the sight of them now - but the ammo dump repair will come in handy and it's a big help to the team.
