It was on a few days ago on Channel 4HD and I finally got around to watching.
Given the age of the film (1969) I wasn't expecting much...

It looked fookin brilliant. Sounded fookin brilliant, and still pisses all over the shitty remake.

But it makes me wonder what came first... The idea for the film or was the film made around the cars?

sadly though it's looking dated, and it's like watching scenes from Bullit with scenes shown from different angles.

But it's still a bloody good film.

ya can't beat the original, it's a movie that was very well made.
The new one that got released was poo. :ymsick:

anyone who suggests the original italian job was anything but brilliant will be lynched by me, it was flipping epic, and REAL STUNTS not fucking CGI like the farts and furious

also Bullet is excellent B-)
An explosion now and then is nice. Keeps the mind sharp,
