Sorry about not replying on psn dave, played dc earlier this afternoon and switched off notifications because it was starting to get on my nerves on the minimap, then i went on test drive and forgot it was still off.

Gettin' cheesed off with dc at the moment though, the social community is shitty for villains, no-one ever seems to chat or want to do missions, raids and or other stuff, they all to busy standing around emoting.. lol.

It makes it feel like a massive single player online lmao, i've got maybe 4 ppl including you that talk on it, the rest o them just seem to be standing idle, without mates on this it is boring.

opc villain league is pointless, you see them completing feats and shit, but don't wanna group up for some reason, wtf!!
Seems to be quite busy on the hero side of things though...maybe we should switch..create new chars, send over the weapons and stuff and see how we get on to spice things up and maybe payback on the villains lolz!

Let me know when you are going on again in the forum, cuz i am turning off notifications alot recently and won't see you come online.

lol, well i tried to be honest in it.
The game is ok and fun especially if you have friends, but this is a mmo, you should be able to group up with strangers - but it's rare, people are getting less and less, i have bought a sub for 1 more month and check out the new content, then see how it goes, but i really only enjoy playing the game when dave is playing - other people seem non-existent.

You can say that about the majority of online gaming though... It's invariably better with mates.

I personally think they commercially shot themselves in the foot by having it so incredibly easy to max out your rank. Ranking is a major incentive in these things. They should have made it much, much harder to rank up.

Talk about spunking your load. Then there's the issue of the general failing of communication... Surely that's a core aspect of an MMO? You know what would have been cool? If people's chat sat over their heads in speech bubbles. You know - like a DC comic...?

Sony Online Entertainment today announced the release of the second episode of new content for the critically acclaimed action MMO DC Universe Online (DCUO) Heads or Tales. Arriving shortly after launch and a robust content addition in February, Heads or Tales features Gotham City District Attorney turned crime boss Harvey Dent/Two Face, and delivers new game play content suited for players of all levels and criminal persuasions including new missions, raids, and encounters. Players will also be able to explore the darker side of Batman when he is infected with a virus and teams up with DCUO's most formidable boss, Brainiac's Avatar of Technology.

Available for the PC and the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, DC Universe Online allows players to step into the DC Universe, create their own super hero or villain, and join forces to fight alongside or against their favorite DC icons. The Heads or Tales content will be available as a free update for all active DC Universe Online accounts.

The new content update for DCUO includes:

BATCAVE PART 3

* Batcave 3 Raid: Level 30 players are brought face-to-face with The Dark Knight himself. Unfortunately, he's been infected with a virus and has teamed up with the all-powerful Brainiac's Avatar of Technology.


INTRODUCTION TO TWO-FACE

* Two-Face Instance: Following Harvey Dent/Two-Face on a mission into Penguin's hideout, players will aim to take out his latest smuggling operation. The kicker? You don't know if he will help or hinder your efforts - the chances are 50/50 and everything depends on the flip of a coin.
* Legends PvP: Two-Face/Harvey Dent will be added as a playable character in Legends "Play as Iconic" PvP mode.
* New Attacks: Call in your own mob of goons to keep your opponent occupied as you unleash a suppressive bullet spray, oil drum trap or grenade launcher.
* Flip-of-the-Coin Abilities: Switch powers based on which side the coin lands: the Two-Face side deals more damage and DoT attacks and the Harvey Dent side gives more control, knockdowns and stuns.


SPECIAL EVENTS

* Mister Mxyzptlk: Experience Metropolis transformed by the presence of Mr. Mxyzptlk and his fellow 5th dimensional supervillain tricksters.
* Multi Player Race: Players can assume the guise of a 5th Dimensional Denizen and play tricks on fellow races over the skies of Metropolis.
* New Gold Collections: New encounters with 5th Dimensional Denizens dressed as Leprechauns guarding a Pot Of Gold that players will need to find and collect coins from while the Leprechauns try to stop them in various amusing ways.
