Bloody annoyed I was.

It's some little prick (or group of pricks) just like Geohot. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a rap on YouTube soon as well. The only way to combat ddos effectively is to increase bandwidth massively while filtering out IP's that are requesting massive amounts of data.
