Considering Travelling Aboard Alone.....

So i woke up this morning, And decided i want to go somewhere abroad.

I was thinking the States (New York) for a week or 2 maybe........

Then i was thinking who of my friends would be willing to go!
Then i fort wtf!!! why go somewhere abroad and feel i have to compromise what i want to do all the time.

Why not go at it alone?
Would it be so wrong to Travel to the states on my own!

Not having to Compromise with other people!! What they want to do and what i want to do!!
I can wonder off and go where i like!
I can hookup with people and not worry about my friends and leaving them behind.

Would it put me on the Spot and MAKE me talk to other people and try and mingle.
Would i enjoy it?

It could go horribly wrong! or it could go very well!!

The only thing that i would find hard.... i would think would be the eating out Alone?

It could go horribly wrong if you went backpacking through drug lord riddled south america!

i think the worse you would end up with in the USA is indigestion from all the food!

nowt wrong with going for a break mate, nowt wrong at all, i would still rather share the experience with a friend or partner myself but i know you've had a rough time at home recently so might do you some good to get out and about, that english accent will go down well with the yanks too

I did some traveling across Europe when I was younger and loved it, but that was during summer. Sure the weather is getting better, it's not quite 20ºc yet

America is pretty good to be honest but I've only ever been to new york - and it was amazing. Just be prepared for your IQ to drop 100points if they start talking to you.

Pubs and retaurants: The food and alcohol is pretty amazing. The spirits are all free pour, no measures here. A shot of whisky is in a shot glass, and they fill it!

Dont get drunk though, you're in a strange place and if you are on your own, who's gonna look after you?

But pud is right, the american ladies love the English accent.
