I had to watch it without sound, so don't know if he's saying anything over the top... It looks like his collision is only checking a foot point. His framerate is going to fall through the floor when he adds mutliple collision points per entity, multiple entities and most CPU intensive - boned animation for multiple entities.

But he seems to have an art to render pipeline set up, which is a solid foundation.
