has the honeymoon phase gone from black ops?
i am still playing but everyone else has seemed to have quit i have found the perfect load out for a class 9/10 games my kills are higher than my deaths 7/10 games i have more than 20 kills and less than 10 deaths, class load out is enfeild with supressor, secondery uselauncher with lock on capablitys, claymore, any frag or semtex or c4....etc what ever gets you hard, decoy as your tactical, perk 1 use ghost(pro takes a little work but not impossable)perk 2 hardened(again pro takes a little work but simple to do over time)perk 3 ninja(same as other perks get pro) all this makes you undetectable to all aircraft targiting invisable to uav but i dont think it works against the blackbird but not overly sure in that one, if you get the urge to play and try out my class i will be playing and your welcome to join me

i have found one slight problem with this kit i prestiged on friday its taken me all weekend to rank up to 20 and on the game where i ranked up to 20 i got the play 25 entire games achevment, the games i play i end up kicking arse so much the little cry babies quit out or i get connection interupted and loose alot of points and dont get to call in my killstreaks cos people cant hack loosing and gettting owned

for me the call of duty series started and ended with COD4 it was fun, if a little hair trigger, beating someone shouldnt always be down to how quick you can respond or how good your connection is or the best camping spot, MW2 just made the semi plausable story from COD4 into a shambles and they just piled in more more more into the multiplayer until you get nuked by a 12 year old camper from oregon no thanks
black ops was crap the SP was crap the MP was crap the minute i got killed by a remote control car i left and fired up BFBC2, thats just my opinion and if the OP is happy playing it still thats cool but its certainly not the best online shooter out there in my opinion

Never even bought it
MW was a freak spike IMO, and it's been perpetuated by Activision in their own interests. The disbanding of Infinity Ward means that such a spike is highly unlikely in the future.
There are very few companies in the games industry that can reliably produce quality. Mainly because it is very rare for a company to be conscious of the exact formula that makes their hits so successful. Criterion and DICE are obvious exceptions to this rule.
Stick with ol' faithful - Battlefield. Yes it has problems, and yes they're the same problems over and over usually. But you can live with them, and DICE know why we like what they make.
Fuck Activision and their £55 piss-taking.
EDIT: Also, LOL at this quote...

"Call of Duty has become the Coca-Cola of video games, a thoughtless icon that engenders a fervent, slightly irrational loyalty among its partisans. In reality it's an alarmingly unnatural mix of addictive chemicals, gas, and syrup noxious enough to degrade a nail and cook a piece of meat. In that way Black Ops is a staggering success, an impressive example of how a company can convince the public to value almost anything given the right iconography, branding, and chemical response. It's a secret to everyone. It's worth turning Golding's question on its ear with Call of Duty. What is it doing that could be described as right anymore?"
