as some of you may know i had a hissy fit over GT5 the other night and promptly lobbed my controller at the living room wall, the controller was pretty much fucked. and ive been wondering these past few days why cant the controllers be made more durable?

we have toughbooks? toughphones? why not tough controllers? it could be made from one piece of rubber possibly? or something shock proof? its no excuse for loosing your rag which of course you couldnt but it would be good to have something to chuck that wouldnt get broke :XD
An explosion now and then is nice. Keeps the mind sharp,

I buy pads in pairs, so one charges while I use the other (and also so that any 2 player local action is available - although I've only done that twice as far as I recall over the life of my PS3).

Since getting my PS3 I've gone through 5 pairs (= 10) pads, and I'm proud to say only one of those was due to rage. The rest have given up the ability to centre the stick.

If you really want to rage on a pad, swing it by its cable into a solid concrete wall. Oooh yeah - watch those bits fly :)
