Ok talk to me lol.
Questions,

1. Is the wear on your tyres done in one race, reset on the next?

2, is the wear on a tyre added to the total life of ur tyre?

I race with no traction control and no abs.
An I fly through them corners letting of more smoke than a burning house.

My last 3 races I could not control my car and lost the race at the very end to loss of control.
I replace my tyres and not one cock up.

This tells me am shredding my tyres, n to get anywhere I neeeed new tyres every 2 races on a 5 laper.

Or I learn to race with traction
Control on.

What are your experiences with your tyres.

as with previous versions of gt, tyre wear and petrol consumption come into play later on in the game

i personally have had no problems using soft racing tyres doing 10 laps of tsukuba in my 800bhp skyline

at expert level, lvl18 no loss of wear yet

If thats what ur saying am wondering of they where a bad choice of tyres for that race, weathet conditions n all that.

I know you get wear per race I.e 10 lap race by your 9th ull notice the differnce from the first.

Are you leaving traction control on n abs,.
My tyres at bottom left glow white most races and flying through corners makes make at least 2 glow red, heavy corners 3 a always glow red, 180 corners all 4 glow red.

Again I always disable my traction control and abs. So I do skid / drift shit more

if i've had to tune my car to give me that little advantage over the others then i'll turn off traction control

when you unlock proper tyre wear you soon know as its like driving on ice with normal tyres

btw i'm sure gt4 had brakes as an option in tuning where are brakes now in gt5!
