A interesting question?

I ran some tests in work, and BT are Shaping our traffic:

Run the tests and see if they Monitor your Torrents, Youtube, Direct HTTP or FTP
and see if they alter your speeds.

You will get some interesting results.

Ours in work is really capped pending on what you do by the ISP

Nope... for a while though I thought they were.
But working trackers are getting hard to find.

BT are well known for blocking torrent traffic, from midnight to 7am it's uncapped, the rest of the time, you're lucky if you get bytes per second.

couldnt get a test to run but the only shaping that would bother me would be gaming and none of the other traffic. so the tests are a bit moot for me
An explosion now and then is nice. Keeps the mind sharp,

Not really, several games (re: Call of duty) use PTP technology to matchmake and use comms. BFBC1 used PTP for it's ingame comms.
Hence the problems it had, likewise 1943.

And it's all blocked, the ISP doesn't care if it's for games or for shafting Hollywood, it's all the same to them.

As I said.
Space dont cost much
Perforamnce dont cost much

The big bucks in bandwidth.
Isp or anyone will do what they can. Hosting. Vps. Dedicated servers. Anything web related is bandwith n thats the costly thing

( on another note there are some threads I want to reply to, am only on my phone atm an long replays hard. )
