well ive ordred hawx 2 since the price crashed on thehut.com to 18ish quid, cant complain.
always loved flight combat games whether its a spitfire or an x-wing, i think its something that consoles always get bashed for. and to some extent ill agree
when i had a PC i played the X-wing series and it peaked with Tie Figher i think, they were brilliant games you just couldnt cram all the controls onto a game pad but why cant developers allow you to use the game pad and a USB keyboard huh?
i think the PS3 is screaming out for a Hidef star wars space combat game, or any space combat game whether its wing commander or personally my favourite a HD update of Colony wars the old PS1 classic.
but anyway mild rant over onto hawx 2. i did get HAWX and i mildly enjoyed it, ive always like the Ace Combat series but i thought HAWX might be a bit more rooted in reality, which was a mistake as the technojiggery clouded some of the game, so maybe HAWX2 will be an improvement. ill let you know i liked the demo so well see how we go
Also why does every flight combat game end in a trench run? you know what i mean
Ordered HAWX 2

I played HAWX one, and it was OK. I just didn't like the demo for 2 though. It felt horrible. Maybe because my last frame of reference was IL2, which was (is) fucking awesome.
I'm gonna wait for Ace Combat (see the trailers on the PSN store) and Apache Air Assault.
I'm a flight junkie, but can't stoop to HAWX 2. Although if I saw it in a shop for under £20, I might be tempted. But sitting here, I know I would feel dirty, and it wouldn't get played for ages.

i didnt think the demo was that bad myself graphics seem to be improved but the new AC looks good too, i wonder if any new silly superweapons will feature in it
either way i dont think you can argue for less than £20 and if its rubbish ill trade it in, might even get more than the sale price
