Ive been struggling to get online with BFBC2 today its been horrendous, i tried to join and it said connecting at first, then it said failed to connect to ea online so i retried and then it asked me to login with my EA account?? so before i could enter the password i pressed the wrong buttong and it said incorrect password, then it wouldnt let me in at all. despite trying to reconnect
so i rebooted the console, then it said i had never been online at all and asked me to enter my VIP code which i did despite having done this months ago when i got the game.
several more reboots and it still wasnt working properly i got in game and then got booted saying i hadnt unlocked the content.
in the end i got a message i was disconnected from the servers so i turned off the console before i stamped on it
is EA online messed up because of MOH

LOL ouch!
There's a very simple reason - because EA's hamster can't pedal the wheel fast enough! You'd think they'd've invested more in their online infrastructure by now...

No, I believe you are confusing the server with the CEO.yorkshirepudding wrote:lol i was imagining a midget on a treadmill

har :XD
well it was still working badly yesterday not tried it today but i come to the conclusion the servers were fubard or my profile got wrecked.
if i was to remove data from my PS3 to see if that fixed it what would i need to remove? the game data? or saved game data?

if you don't mind losing your single player progress then delete your saved game data, no harm in deleting game data as well, you'll just be prompted to update to the latest patch when you first run game after deletions

Try game data first - and if it doesn't work, save data as a last resort.

it got fixed without me needing to do anything so seems EA prodded the server gerbils and tickled the RAM cache bat files :fail:
