Dont use the one i Uploaded

Sorry i didnt make myself clear,
That zip file i made just for you, it contains all the icons on your phone

What i was ment to say was download the zip, open it and check out your Icons and Battery meter,
If you like the look of it, download it from there site,

if not let me know and i will edit the icons and compile you a framework to flash.

Them icons are what i just ripped out of the framework you download and flash to your phone :P

And the link i provided is loads of different icons (FOR MY PHONE DONT USE THEM)
But if you like them images i can get them images and compile you a new framework for your phone,

A little more clear now,
I was just uploading that zip file so you can see the images you where getting before you flash.

Or if you hate them i will make one with all the ones i usse :-)

Went into my new city center yesterday (I'VE MOVED!).

I popped into Phones 4 U and a salesman came over too me and asked what I was looking for. I said I'm not too fused about the minutes or texts, but I would love internet and I really like the idea of a HTC (as Dave and Sy bum it).

He said the best he could do is a HTC Mini for £25!!! I told him to shove it and walked out the shop!

I could get a Tesco rolling 1 month sim only, unlimited internet, unlimited texts and 500 minutes for £10 a month. Then I could buy a nice phone.

What'd ya recon?

Unlimited Net is going to be capped at 500MB
WATCH That,

All campaniles label it as Fair Usage Policy

Anyway, dont think 25 is too bad,

I pay £25 a month
i get 500mb (Labels Unlimited Internet)
Unlimited texts (Again its capped at like 200 txts a day but really you could not do that 31 days a month so thats why they say unlimited LOLOL

And silly amount of minutes.

I have the HTC Desire,
And i look at it phone retails @ 250 - 300 for an example:
i get £10 - 15 worth of units a month, and then £10 - 15 for the phone
over 18 months i would of paid 270 or less so it always works well in my eys,
and then its a new phone time and nothing to pay out for.. :P

Before you do get a HTC i do advise looking at the XDA Developers for a Popular phone
Rooted and Custom mods,
They make the phones 100000 times better

That second screenshot is a Toggle app,

You would have to extract the App and replace the images,
Depending how the have compiled it,
It might be possible or not.

As thats an app its a pain in the ass AT time.

If its a default thing in the ROM it can be adjusted,
Upload images you want and i can compile a new framework for you phone.

The Framework contains all settings and references like,
100 stage battery instead of 4 or 5
References to images,
Auto Brightness etc etc etc

I have a lovely Notification bar,
You drag it down its Transparent and has like a nice little gloss finish to it :-)

Its nice to have a Bspoke phone to your liking :-) mwahahaha
Nice screenys BWT

If you use that Beautifull thingy for your clock, there is some nice toggles for your Wifi Bluetooth etc (You will see them on my screenshots i use them intead)

live wallpaper is matrix which is free and isn't to bad on the battery considering i had 75% yesterday, messed with booting and editing icons, making calls and taking pictures im now at 45% all whilst wallpaper was animating - :)

the last pic is where i forgot to take off the screen and it took a pic of the unlock screen lmfao.

Yer thats one thing i love about the Animated wallpapers
Dont kill the battery

Check your stats if your ever unsure:
Settings:
About Phone:
Battery Use:

And you get a breakdown of what is being used!

Haha i had that unlock screen, i kept forgetting what the pattern was so i removed it LOL

Yer them 2 apps you paid for, i think are amazing for there moneys, always get updated too.
Btw if you didnt know using Launcher Pro you can resize the icons and widgets,
when you hold down (As if your going to delete the icon / widget
and then touch it again, it goes orange,
drag it up and down to resize it to your liking :-)

Looking nice tho

Just ordered a new phone from 3.
HTC Desire HD
http://threestore.three.co.uk/priceplan ... HTDESHD3DS

But not for that price.
£20.00 for me.

This is my first android phone, and I can't say I'm excited just yet.

I've also just tripped over this:

Nice choice, i really want the Upgrade from my phone (HD Version)
All you need is one Stop!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=754

Spend the time to read around,
Come back here and ask your Noobie questions.

Official Roms are good, But ever better than the ones built by the Community.
The ones that have them features you always fort would be a good idea, but never seen it in practise.

Couple of terms you will come across on the forum:
"There is 100's but off the top of my head"

Rooted: Means the Handset has been Unlocked "Rooted" This basically gives you a read and write on all system files

Radio: Still not 100% but i imagin them to be like up2 date drives for your Hardware

HAVS and SVS: HAVS changes the voltages used for each frequency, SVS has fixed voltages. HAVS should give better battery life, SVS should be more stable. Using lower voltages or higher frequencies can make your phone unstable, flash with caution.

Kitchens: Online Sites that cook a Flashable file for you,
You can customise how you want your theme / look to be on your phone,
Wait 5 minutes for your file and bingo Flash it.

CM: CyanogenMod, One of the biggest names in the community, these guys have added soo many features to the android,
All them features every phone should have. but never has.
From Silent hours and exclusions to Customising what Keys do what on your phone.

A word of Advise
Gingerbread is pretty new, and alot of Roms still seem buggy.
I have gone through my fair few and still find the older ones better.

Anyway there is alot to learn and many questions will be asked, give us a shout

root your phone:

UniversalAndroot.apk (email me for copy)

stick in root folder of sd card and install

user interface:

your phone will come with Sense ui, alternatives to try:

Zeam Launcher (what I use, nice and minimalist and fast) or
Launcher Pro

What phone are you running.
Last i heard UniversalAndroot (1 Click Root) Was not supported on the HTC Desire!!

To root the HTC Desire HD
Thanks to the folks @ XDA it is now possible to permanently root your HTC Desire HD. Up until now all we could do was to get temporary root access on this device. This hack will jailbreak your HTC Desire HD and allow you to do anything you want on it, check out the instructions after the break.

Note that we will not be responsible if you end up bricking your device, rooting your phone can be risky and requires technical skills.

All the credits go to adwinp, scotty and tmzt @ XDA.

This permanent root solution will root / jailbreak your HTC Desire HD and requires the use of an application called VISIONary.
If you haven’t heard of VISIONary before, have a look at our article about it:

*
How To Root Your HTC Desire HD

Follow the instructions to permanently root your HTC Desire HD [from [DEV] S-OFF, PERMROOT, eMMC write [INSTRUCTIONS]]:

1. Get VISIONary @ http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-d ... lick-root/. It is not available on the Android Market anymore.
2. Do a temp root using VISIONary
3. Download the dhd_root.zip file @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=805327
4. Extract the files from the archive and copy them into the /sdcard/ folder on your device
5. You only need one of the .ko file depending on your device version (check it using uname –a in adb shell)
6. Go to adb shell, type su to get root access
7. Now type:
insmod /sdcard/wp-(version).ko
8. Then:
dd if=/sdcard/hboot_eng.nb0 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p18
9. Type: [double check the partition or you will end up bricking your HTC Desire HD]
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p21
10. Then:
push su /sdcard/
11. Type:
push Superuser.apk /sdcard/
12. Then:
copy su /system/bin/
13. Type:
copy Superuser.apk /system/app/
14. Finally type:
chmod 4755 /system/bin/su

Reboot and you should have permanent root access on your HTC Desire HD!
