So it came out yesterday, and like many new things which come out on Playstation i decided to jump on the bandwagon.

Purchased a years subscription for the price of a new Ps3 title - £39.99.

So far I've been quite impressed as i havent previously bought any of the content availible. (minus the free download of LBP).

totalled up the amount of free content i was getting this month based on the PSN store Pricings, came to just under £30, isn't bad tbh.

My only gripes with the service atm, it doesnt improve your online gameplay connection in anyway. Yes it's nice having lots of nice new games, but i wouldve payed 40squid anyday just to remove some of the LAG.

Plus i can also see it falling at the first hurdle with lots of people who already have the availible.

yeah i got it but only the 90 day flavour

nothing there to keep me on + subscription at the moment, already got wipeout hd, didnt see lbp unless thats for us or 1yr subscribers

autostart and auto update are nice but not a deal breaker for me

auto update decided to download modnation racers and heavy rain demo for me this am. i've deleted them and hope the system is intelligent enough not to redownload them tomorrow am!

I dont need a System to download something for me

When i need it i will download it. i.e. when i lunch the game it download the patch,

When i see something on the store i like ill buy it,

There is no BETA Content yet, so its something they have used to try and real customers in and fail to meet demands

Ingame cross chat, One of the Only things i wanted from day 1 on the Playstation,
And this + Service i fort would DEFO Have it, would of sold the service to millions,
But again Sony fail to meat demands
And it was announced in around the 13 june / july it would not be in the service,
If this rules out planes all together or just not at this moment i have no idea,

The idea of a Service is a you have it or you dont,
I cannot understand why people who have paid for 12 months have more than the people who have 60 day trial or what ever,
As there is only 1 Subscription the + Service they should not be limiting it if you dont have the year,
What i mean by this is if you go and download Subscription from a company
They will offer something like

Name: Basic
£5 pm, = 200GB Download
£13 3months = 500GB Download Per Month,

Name: Premium
£7 PM = 200GB Download and 20GB Upload,
Etc etc

So what i am getting at is there is two services you can select Basic or Premium
One gives you a little more,

Sony on the other hand Offer one Service and limit to how much you spent!!!!

So am not complaining lol

For me personally i must say what is the point?

I subbed for a year i don't really care about LBP I'm on the fence about downloading Wipeout. For the £40 outlay I'm betting it'll pay itself back over the 12months I'm sure I mean the service is still in it's first month of content, and hey if it turns out to be shit after those 12 months I won't pay again no skin off my back.

Sony are just beginning to piss me off though with the utter bullshit they pass for firmware updates these days.

There has been absolutely jack shit in terms of a decent update since 2.40 back in 2008 for fuck sake. I mean who's bright idea was it to put a video editor on a console i mean I know sony are going for a multimedia machine look but come on now, as for fackbook well basically fuck facebook give me something I will actually fucking use for example:

Voice Messages not rocket science not hard to implement set a duration if worried about bandwidth.

I can check everything on PSN on my PC why for the love of god can't I send a fucking message (or friend request) what is this the early days of the internet who the fuck is your PSN integration department a bunch of fucking chimps.

I think Sony Japan just go right lads what is the most stupidest things we can put in a update and hype it to be something awesome? While we in-turn don't give users what they want.

I thought it was really below par at first, all the games they gave away I'd already bought. But this last month (September) is pretty damned good.
I've got quite a few mini's out of it, and now Sam and Max collection.

No doubt over the next few months we'll see more games that I've already bought, but the stream seems to be steady and the content is fairly good quality to excellent quality.
