Copied From Gametrailers

Rockstar Games has finally issued a release date for their upcoming DLC pack for Red Dead Redemption, “Outlaws To The End”.

Releasing June 22nd on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, this pack includes six all new co-operative missions and challenges, as well as new trophies/achievements to unlock. Additionally, players will be issued bonus XP rewards in multiplayer.

Not a bad deal considering the price of admission, which happens to be, oh, I dunno…FREE!. Yeah, that’s right, you can expect to queue up this download on June 22nd for no charge, how’s that for awesome?

Are you ready to high-tail it across the ol’ west with a bud? Hogtie your comments below.

Plus More DLC due out this summer

Woah, what?! Didn’t I just write up about Red Dead Redemption’s free co-op DLC? Well, I did, but the nice people at Rockstar aren’t stopping there. Why? Well, they want to make up for all of the glitches that have been plaguing the game since launch, so they decided to give their fans the Expert Hunter and Savvy Merchant outfits for free, as well as their related challenges. In regards to actually fixing the bugs, the team is hard at work on patching the big problems in the game, most notably, the Mo Van Barr bounty bug.

So far the outfits are only dated for this summer, but I’m sure we will find out the exact date soon enough.

Also, if you seem to have a problem in the game that you believe is only affecting you, Rockstar has a bunch of links to contact them for support which you can check out at their site. Be sure to check below for the official word from Rockstar regarding the glitches and free DLC, then race down to the comments and share your thoughts on the matter!

FROM ROCKSTAR:

“We are aware that there are still some of you out there experiencing issues with Red Dead Redemption, including multiplayer connectivity and getting the Mo Van Barr bounty. We are currently testing a Red Dead Redemption title update for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 that aims to fix these and other items. Due to the unpredictable nature of the testing and console manufacturer submission process, we cannot pin down a very specific date and time, but we do expect this to be released for download for both systems by the end of next week. We can assure you we are working with our partners at Microsoft and Sony to make this title update available literally as soon as possible.

Once again, we thank everyone for their continued patience and understanding. As a token of our appreciation for your patience and in gratitude to all the Red Dead fans out there, we are also planning on releasing the Expert Hunter and Savvy Merchant outfits and related challenges later this summer for free. Please stay tuned for more details on that – as well as on the Outlaws to the End Co-Op Missions DLC Pack coming for free later this month.”
