WOW, the lag is absolutely horrendous, its unplayable... remember christmas and BFBC1?
Even the completely lag free Sqaud rush is appalling.

The All Weapon Bronze Star Insignia is bugged atm.

got every single weapon at bronze minus the WW2 M1
which stats count towards the Thompson :wow:

Doesnt make sense.

cause of this you cant get the other insignia for all bronze stars.

if you play later on in the evening say 10 ish onwards theres loads less lag.

have to admit its almost unplayable for me from about 16:00 till 22:00,

On Thursday 3rd June the PlayStation 3 Bad Company 2 servers will go down for maintenance. On your side of things at around 08:00 UTC (09:00 UK, 10:00 Europe, 02:00 Pacific) you will start to see prompts to update your PS3 when you next put Battlefield: Bad Company 2 in your disc drive.



The update includes the following changes:



* Kit images added in spawn menu
* Fixed the "required rank" field on the unlock items specified on the W&G page
* Added M14, NS 2000 and G3 in-game unlock pop-up when the requirements for unlocking them are reached
* Added a server side check of the veteran status of the players
* Award bugfix for "Win all 4 game modes" (it had marksman headshot as a dependency)
* Garand did not track anything, Thompson tracked Garand.
* Increased the penalty points for TeamKill and TeamDamage
* Increased the reward points for Objective Actions (Flag Cap/Assist, Arm/Disarm/Destroy/Damage/TeamDestroy/TeamDamage)
* Fixed veteran rank number not showing up in ingame scoreboard
* The southpaw setting now works for the anti-air gun and the Stationary AT
* Collectible weapon messages fixed



Now you can go out and get your Garand stats you have all been waiting for.



Edit: This update will go out on PS3 in all regions including Japan.

Xbox 360 update is also in the works and is due in the very near future.

borders on arica conquest are wider now.
Reports of map changes and a new stationary vehicle on atacama??? ill confirm soon.

white pass brightness changed.

atacama uav has been moved to the top of the ship (up the stairs) with a bit covering it so you cant snipe people of it so easy.

conquest tickets are up to 250 a team. so if you happen to be on the end of baserape its bad news for you, good news for heli whores who wil get 5000-7000 pretty easy LMFAO.

Panama canal lighting changed, i think the AA has been buffed a slight bit, im pretty positive it hits harder.

spawn screen shows pictures of your soldier (which looks pretty good)

buggy from bc1 has been added too, look at the vehicle stat page, also a stationary grenade launcher.. not sure what map they are on though.

Finaly got the chopper roadkill trophy, just need the demolish kills trophy (11 kills needed).
Then 2 single player m-com stations trophies.

i'm glad they fixed the m1 garand issue, nearly got bronze on all guns then, only 2x, specact m95 & m1

dont like the pics of the soldiers on the weapon select/class select screen, looks to much like an afterthought
