Does it show the red dot ingame only on the mini map.... never noticed

use them as a Bluff, If you play normal mode and are used to it,
the first thing you do out of reaction would be to move out of your current possision
as you have been spotted,
or to make someone move around or be on edge as they hear that beeping noise!!!

Can be usfull in a number of ways

they beep when your detected similar to normal mode, except the beeping means you are in motion and the enemy knows your close.. and anyway - hardcore mode is not a favourite of mine, it is full of snipers, and i don't like team fulls of them.

sniper or medic 1 shot kill to the hand lmao :) weAK.

It's not that bad Sy...It takes about as many hits as normal to kill, and there are just as many snipers as normal mode.

I love hardcore mode. Mainly because when I find a sweet spot for getting some killing on (not sniping btw), no one can work out where I am because the kill cam just shows your dead body.

FYI, for spotting (recon balls or select) you can press start to see the map with all spotted enemies on.
