...or my favourite - respawning on a squad mate that looks like he's all serene and peaceful just as a light tank with infantry support opens up on him from off camera.

How bout respawning as 2 bad guys spawn close to you facing the other way, you shoot one, another spawns, you shoot second, another one spawns, you shoot third, another one spawns then the 4th respawn knifes you.
