Conquest vs Rush

I think it's dawned on me the difference between the two modes in terms of having fun... Rush can be hit or miss depending on the team make ups, where as conquest is pretty much consistently the same amount of fun whatever. Also, a good player or two can single handedly sway the course of a conquest match, but if your team sucks on rush and the other doesn't you're doomed no matter what (as Daz and I discovered earlier).

So I re-evaluate my stance on conquest vs rush:

Good rush game > conquest game > bad rush game

This ring true for anyone else?

Rush is still my favourite mode, I love the way it concentrates the gameplay.
BUT fuck me is it frustrating when you have a shit team. Sure if you have a good 4 man squad you can change the entire dynamic.
While me and infinite had a really shitty round, had it been me, infinite, KK, Sy, Seddon, Dave, Coda, 007, Ninja, backedout_, or any other of us regular players, it would have no doubt ended with a completely different result.

Whoops, yeah conquest is good, almost as good as rush.

Conquest is perfect for fantasising about really being there. Its very atmospheric - good when you have a decent sqaud just running from base to base, but just as good when you are on your own being all covert and such likes!

Rush is only worth playing if you land on a decent squad - Daz, Infinite you dead right.

i prefer conquest - but at the moment rush is spoiled by non-objective focused people, so yeah - you need a good sqaud to understand rush and play it right.
